Do you treat wood with a moisture content of 13-15% the same as green wood when turning bowls or HF's ?

Turn it to 10% and then dry further using bag or DNA method?

4% to l2% is kiln dried, l2% to 25% is air dried, above 25% is green. When water hits you in the face it is real green.

Maybe I did not word my question correctly.

I would like to know if people treat partially dried wood (13%) the same as green wood. Rough turning to 10% of the diameter and then either bagging it or DNA soaking it before returning it to the lathe.

Or at that level of moisture (13-15%) do you just turn and finish it and let it dry on it's own?
