I have a space about 40" between the door and garage door in my work area. I am not using that area for much and I thought it would be nice to have my miter saw set up all the time. Tend of use it alot. I thought that space would make a good spot for a miter station. If I am doing long stock I could set up roller stands and I would have about 12 feet on one side and 5 feet on the other. Should be plenty of room for anything I am likely to cut.
Anyway, a while back on some website I saw a plan for a small miter station; really a miter shelf. Basically, it looked like a shelf with angled braces under the self to support the saw. Looked like it was made out of 3/4 plywood. However, I cannot find that website now and I have looked everwhere and did a bunch of searches but nothing. Looked simple to build and it looked like it would fit in my space and if not I could customize it easily. Any leads on where I could find this or another plan that would work in this space?
