This is the latest hollow form that I turned it is mahogony w/ birch accents. It is 10 1/2" x 5" x 7 1/2" tall, hollowed out 2 3/4" deep bowl and 1/4" thick. Sanded to 600 and finished with home brew danish oil.

Thats really cool looking Harvey.
I like it.
Do you turn it then cut the side pieces off or does your blank start with two flat sides?

Thank you for the critiques. The danish oil is pretty simple it is 50/50 BLO and Mineral spirits with alittle polyurethane added. This piece was turned from a rectangle.
