Made the router fence this weekend. It has six pups that go into six of the dog holes, they give the fence a solid base no clamps needed. My bench has a cam lever to lift the router/plate out of its housing, makes life easier. The router height adjuster from porter cable is nothing amazing, it works but has a lot of play, maybe one day i'll up grade to a dedicated lift. Beech fences lock in with sliding dovetails. Next project is to seal the router in a box with dust collection.

very nice! That is a pretty unique setup, I've not seen someone with a bench quite like that, nor with a router in their bench. Where did you get the bench design--I'm in the market. Thx!

Nice bench Tyler! I like the apparent stiffness of the top with the inset router. Also, the first bench i worked with had a tray that was great for brushing extra stuff out of the way.
