That's not going to break the bank. Any suggestions?

I've been pleased with my Incra V27...sells for $60 goes on sale for < $50. The addition of a shopmade or aftermarket fence helps it alot.

I've also got an Osborne EB-3 that sells for ~ $110. It's larger, has a fence, and also works well.

What kind of cuts? Do you often make odd angles or mostly 45? If you only use a few angle cuts then a sled is still the best way. Cost is free if you have a decent scrap pile, very low if you don't.

I have only used stock gauges and an incra 3000. I don't know the cost on the Incra since it wasn't mine but it was quality. Easy adjustment to fine angles and a good repeatable stop.

I went and looked it up. It runs about $230. Not sure if that is bank breaking or not.

LOML got me a Kreg crosscut guide for Christmas. I am impressed so far. I have not tried making picture frames with it yet to see if it is superior to my home made sled. It is nice to use. Mine has the flip stop which has been handy for making small box parts accurately.http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21AVCEFW14L._AA160_.jpg

Amazon has it for $139.00

I like the price of the v27 and I have a 30" aluminum fence, I have heard a lot of good things about it other than on here too. Mostly need it for 15 and 30 cuts (12 peice rings and 6 peice rings) on my bandsaw and 12" sander. Have a Bosch sliding miter saw that is dead accurate to make cuts to start with.

230 is breaking the bank, but I do a combination of 15 and 30 degree cuts to make rings for segmented turnings, I'm not real good yet, but I'm working on a piece for grandmas 90 birthday and I'd like for it to look really good

I've heard a lot of good about this, but would like to stay below $100 if at all possible. I think I'm going with the incra v27

You could build your own (http://gordgraff.blip.tv/#662353). (I never have, but this method is pretty clear cut.)

Highly recommend the Kreg or the Woodhaven. The Osborne is nice, but probably overkill. I don't care for the Incra 1000SE in comparison with the Kreg or Woodhaven. I've never tried the Incra V27.

I'm also looking at the Kreg system. I have had a Menards $50.00 gift certificate since Christmas and not spent it yet. They have this system for 130.00, I'm waiting for them to put it on sale then hopefully I can snatch it up for 60 or 70 dollars more with the gift certificate.

For the price I really don't think you can beat the V-27, great fence.

Like Scott I will go with the EB3 or the V-27, I have them both and use then all the time.

I like the long fence on the EB3 and the versatile of the V-27, so for around $150 you could have them both.

JDS Accumiter is what I own. It is very good.
Also have the Mast R Slide but it is pricey.
