These two large bandsaws seem to be about the same except that the 531 has about 3-1/2" more cutting width and 2-1/2" less resaw capacity. But, since my jointer can only flatten 12" wide boards, it seems that using 16+" of resaw will never happen. Are there any other material differences between these two machines that anyone is aware of. Any other thoughts/comparisons would be appreciated. Thanks.
