Has anyone had the need to use the 1/4" drill guides for their dowelmax?

I used 1/4" for the spindles on some mission tables

My 6mm guides - 1/4" equivalent for a metric setup - are my most used. They are great for panel alignment.

I wish I would have ordered the 1/4 guides when I got mine. I'm working on a captains bed right now and it would be perfect for align the panels. As it is, I'm using my biscuit jointer and it's not as accurate as the Dowelmax so it's a little more difficult.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll pull the trigger and get the whole setup with the 1/4" guide. Everyone says it works great. Hopefully I will have it in time for a spring break trial.

Chris,

If you order from OMS, they'll ship it quick. I think mine went out the same day and took 7-9 days shipping. (I was out with flu when it came so everything was foggy)

Their dowels are more expensive but if you buy them when you get the jig the shipping will be free.
