Sucked in further

No sign of the vortex easing up it's grip on me just yet. I went to pick up a new 12" disc sander last night and there was this "Termite" beconning me. Well before I left the store the darn thing won me over and now has a new home with the sander in my shop.:o I had a laminated block of maple, purpleheart, and walnut chucked up in the lathe waiting to become a goblet. Holy cow!!!:eek::eek::eek: they weren't exagerating about that Termite, it sure made easy, short work of the endgrain:D. Will post some pics of the end result when I finish the goblet this weekend. Sure am gonna miss them catches:)

Congrats on the new tools. I had the same thing happen. That termite just kept calling. I ended up with one and the next time I went to the store the hunter tools kept calling. Yep it is a never ending battle. :eek::rolleyes:;)

Glad to see I am not the only one tools talk to. Everytime I go into a wood working type store I here voices from the turning tools " BUY ME!!!!!!"
You should here what the lathes scream out!
