Dust collector bags

I have a 3HP Powermatic dust collector with two upper and two lower bags. The lower bags are plastic for collection and need replacing. Local outlets don't have them. I found some 3 mil contractor cleanup bags at lowes that will fit.

Does anyone know how thick the originals are? I have a smaller Shopsmith DC also and it has 2 mil bags.

What is the consensus? Will the black 3 mil bags work?

I use 3 mil bags inside a 55 gal drum and they work fine on a cyclone. I can't see why they wouldn't work for your application. The ones I use come in a roll of 100 and are clear.

I've used the 3 mil. contractor bags before with no problems.
I now buy them online in bulk but I use quite a few so it's worth it. The one thing I strongly recommend is to not re-use the bags, don't ask me how I know:(
