I am looking for some help with the hardware necessary to make the cabinet doors on an entertainment center swing open and slide back into the cabinet (out of the way). Can anyone reccomend a particular brand they have used in the past, and I would appeciate any pointers on installing them. I am sure they come with installation instructions, but for me, these kinds of things never go according to plan!! http://www.sawmillcreek.org/images/icons/icon12.gif

Thanks in advance!

Lee Valley has them.

I havent installed any yet. I am going to scrap out an old center that I have no use for.

Try Rockler although may be a little expensive

I am planning to build a computer desk and my wife wants the doors to slide in so I have ordered the Accuride slides from Rockler. A bit pricey but I have used them in the past with good results. Links to Rockler and Accuride.

These:

are the best. The cable system is very easy to install and adjust. The kind that use a wood or metal "follower" are garbage. So sorry to be this opinionated but I have spent so many hours messing with crummy retractable door hardware that never works right (or at least, never works right for very long). These are the only way to go. I guess I should add "IMMHO".....
