Here's a link to a little test of everyday observations. No fair cheating. I scored a 20 on it although I admit to guessing correctly at a few of them.

Have fun.

I missed all the easy stuff on mine--like paper clips and stop signs. I didn't try to reason them out--You know how many stop signs I see in a day--lots. Plus the stop sign at the end of my side street has been mounted upside down for the last month (I guess from local pranksters or non-literate state employees) so I gander at it twice as much as a normal one, lol.:o:confused:

What am I missing?? All I get at home and at work is a dark gray square and some artificial music playing for minutes on end.

Well, either we are a really observant crowd, or we are only hearing from the people who really did well!

I think I'll decide that this is a little of both...

There isn't a correct answer given for one of those questions... the one that repeats the old canard about which hemisphere you're in determining how water goes down a drain.

It sure was tempting to look at the radio on the desk for one of the questions, but I didn't and got it wrong.

I have to agree with Tim. After my wife 'failed' that question, she went right to the bathroom and flushed the toilet... I don't want to post a spoiler; so I will only say that she demanded me to up her score by one  (yeah, she ended up beating me by three!:o)

That question needs tossed out.

I got 15, but would have gotten about 20. Several questions assume all of a certain thing are the same, when indeed they're not.

(ex. even number pages in a book, which way does a fan turn (depends on the fan))

I'm with you, Lee. At first I thought it was my Linux box, but then I switched to my Mac laptop and got the same.

Must use IE to work...

Well my first thought is that that is a pretty dumb requirement.

But my next thought is shock that so many of you guys apparently still use IE. Heck, out of a 3 page thread there was only one non-IE user. Weird, I thought IE was well on it's way out.

My company uses IE and Firefox...I switched over from Netscape and went to IE and have not looked back although I may try and move over to Firefox because it had some neater ways of handling things.

Agree with most should have been more. Stupid mistakes.

I got 25 the second time I took it :)
