These are the planes from my Vacation Gloatations thread.
The 4-1/2 was in great shape other than having a lever cap from a transitional. The other two needed some rust removal and new enamel.
One had a broken handle that was glued. The Bedrock handles were in ugly shape, so those were just replaced.
Unfortunately, the type 5 - 6 #4 has a micro crack at the mouth that was not noticed until a little lapping was done on the base. It still cuts nice fluffy shavings though. They all will make good users, but there are just too many #4 size planes in my shop.
The first picture was taken when they were finished but after taking some shavings.
The second picture is a reminder of what they looked like when they got home.
I hope I am getting better at shrinking picture files down to size for posting.
