I saw a TS comparison in a WW magazine and if there are any valid suggestions that Grizzly looks like or is another product, it's Shop Fox.

I could find a difference only in one of the warning decal placements....was this just me?

Yes, they are pretty much the same. Many Shop Fox tools are in fact the same machine as the Grizzly but with different paint and a big "Shop Fox" logo stuck to the front. My Shop Fox jointer is an example of this.

Yet, as far as I can tell, the Shop Fox line isn't as large as the Grizzly line. Therefore, the selection is often better with Grizzly. For example, I was looking at Shop Fox band saws and found the Grizzly line is more up to date and has a greater variety.

The warranties are also different. Shop Fox actually has a longer warranty.

SF and Griz are owned by the same man. AFAIK, they are separate business entities, but definitely have a common thread. Many of the tools are similar/identical, but certainly not all. SF offers dealer support and a 2-year warranty.
