I would like some info on the Delta Sawbuck. I have seen these several times on Craigslist, and Im wondering about how accurate they are. I have a nice CMS and a RAS that isnt set-up, so I dont need one, but they look intersting. Are there any issues with these? What size blade do they use? Are they still being made? Thanks.

It is more of saw for siding and exterior house trim than for woodworking. I think they use a 8 inch blade. I used one in the past and was not overwhelmed by the accuracy of the one I was using. My BIL uses one when he is running aluminum siding. I do not believe they currently being made.

I own one. The only time I use mine anymore is for vinyl siding. I like a sliding, double bevel compound miter saw for all of the other work. The saw I have is the last model Delta made. It has a composit frame & 8 1/4" blade. The original Saw Buck had an aluminum frame. A former employer had one of the alu. saws. I did not like it as well as the one I have.
