Has anybody ever had this happen to them except me?

Lathe switch set to Forward. Lathe works fine. Reduce Rpm's to zero turn switch off. Restart and the lathe runs in the reverse direction. Does not happen every-time put could be safety problem in the future.

P.S. New inverter arrived today.. replace the old one and still had the same problem -- reluctantly called WMH service and now seems to be working (reprogrammed the box - maybe this was all that was wrong with the first inverter)

Paul,

I've never seen that happen before...but I don't have the "B" model. I have the "A" model of the 3520.

Paul,

I've had the B model for near a year now and haven't had that happen. Never even heard of it happening until your post.

so you are sure to change directions as you go thru the grits ....

(Of course it is not right and you should hit up tech support. Let us know what results and I will post it in the Mustard Monster Tips site.)

I think it could also be as easy as the switch.
