Help w/Bosch 1615 EVS . . .

Hello:

12 or 13 years ago I bought a Bosch 1615 EVS plunge router. I can't find the owners manual in the house or on-line.

The detail I'm looking for is the spindle RPM's at each variable speed.

I'm looking to use it in a table with a lock miter bit and the bit is designed for XXXX RPM.

Anyone help would be appreciated.

Jim, my owners manual says that dial settings 1-3 are equal to 12,000 to 15,000 RPM's. It also says settings 1-3 are best for hardwoods, soft plastics,nonferous metals and large diameter router bits. Settings 4-5 are equal to 16,500-19,000 RPM,s. The manual says settings 4-5 are best for softwoods and smaller diameter router bits. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Jim, I have a 1615 and believe I still have the manual, however I can't get to it until tomorrow night (2-29-08). As soon as I can locate the manual I will forward the info you need. Clyde
