White Mahogany

I use "White Mahogany" on a daily basis. I hate it with every bone in my body. This particular "White Mahogany" is actually Congona; It is under terrible amounts of stress and is just plain dangerous to cut. I am looking for alternatives to this wood but it cannot be too heavy like Avodire since it is for aircraft cabinets. I am looking for any suggestions.
