Finishing Books and Supplies

I know nothing about buffing, compounds, and finishes for woodturnings and have found these three books. Can you folks give me some thoughts about them or any other books that you like on finishing.

Also, where do you folks get your finshing supplies such sandpaper, buffing compounds, etc., I'm trying to create a basic shopping list to get started.
