Can I screw into it? I've made the frame, and added an inner frame/rabbet for the Corian to rest on, but I'd kinda like to attach it somehow for the inevitable time when somebody takes the top off and turns it over. Maybe a couple elongated holes? Please say yes...this has already turned into an expensive lesson! :(

It takes drilling and tapping for machine screws quite nicely.

Ditto Jamie. And if you (hopefully not) screw that up, you can drill an ovesize hole and epoxy a nut or insert into it.
