I wrote this document as a hand out for when I did demos for some local clubs. It discusses my method of approach for natural edge bowls.

The Natural Edge Bowl (http://www.nakedwoodturner.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/the-natural-edge-bowl.pdf)

I thought it might be handy for some of you who haven't tried them yet. I can't remember if I've shared it here before but if I have, sorry for the repost and just consider it remedial. It's been on my website for some time.

Thanks, Raymond! I always like to read how others treat natural edge bowls. Everybody does things differently so there is always something new to learn. Thanks again, for sharing.

Great Raymond,

Your kind help is one of the reasons I like this forum. There's so much to learn so little time.
Hilel.

Raymond, great writeup on natural edge bowls:). It brought a perspective I like but havn't used, unbalanced and natural dips/voids as a more artistic look! Thanks for posting to all of us!

Very well written Raymond. I am sure it will be of great help to many here. I have started using 40 grit to sometimes remove the tenon from mine. This works well when it is short.
