Have a great day all,
This is from scrap from another project. Practicing my horizontal miter splines, which are from Redheart. Finished with lacquer.

Nice work, Chris! Splines look crisp and clean but a little on the thin side for my eyes due to all the action going on in the wood. Or perhaps, the same thickness but one in the middle, too?

Still, beautiful box...looks as good as the other one in the pic!

Chris...
For some reason...I Really like it. Simple...but elegant.

That is just plain sweet!

Very nice box, Chris. There is beauty in both its simplicity and in the great ambrosia maple you used.

Mark, As far as I know, my grandfather never said that to me-I don't even know what it means. Thanks for the comments on the box. The maple came from HH & NK in Kings Mt. NC-about 35min. from here in Gastonia. Have a great day.

Great looking box Chris. Guess it must have passed the bosses approval, as it's in the house!! Again, good work Chris. Steve

"Scrap" he calls it! Hrrrrmph! Most of the time, I can't get something that nice looking 'round here, even when paying a premium! You done good, Chris. Beautiful looking piece!
