For those of you looking for an inexpensive medium/small chuck, Woodcraft has 10% off on Saturday, 3/1, and has an Apprentice chuck listed for 85 dollars. I have heard that it is the same chuck as the regular Barracuda (not the keyed one) and that is quite serviceable. If I'm not mistaken, most of the comments (I remember Bernie's) on the Barracuda were favorable.
Oh, and for those of you within driving distance of Columbia, SC, Mann tool has it's 10% off everything in the store sale this weekend with Scott Phillips as a demonstrator. Mann Tools is ABSOLUTELY GREAT and carries oneway, sorby, powermatic, jet and other tools. I have no affiliation with the store, but I'm one very satisfied customer.
