I went to use my combination machine today and the TS function works just fine as well as the shaper but the J/P function made a slight arcing sound and worked twice but that was it. Now, when I hit the switch I hear a click like a contactor or relay switching but no joy. Any ideas?
The other 2 functions work fine and there is only one capacitor under the hood (is this the same as a starter?) There are no other safety switches to be causing problems and all the connections are looking good and pass the gentle pull test.
I have the wiring diagram but it is belgian and confusing. The switch has 8 positions and there are only 3 fuctions which is bizarre and adds to the confusion as there are 24 terminals on the back.
It is a Robland K 26 made in 1986. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
