I have a project coming up using wenge. Anything weird about gluing it up with standard Titebond II? I know with teak, the oil can make glue up challenging. The wenge doesn't seem to be oily like that.

Thanks for the recommendations.

It will glue up just fine with Type II or Type III PVA glue.

Use plenty of clamping pressure, its dense but no oils to interfer with adhesion....just lots of bad splinters...man I get splinters just looking at it.

Marc Singer has built with wenge quite a bit...perhaps he'll chime in or you can PM if he does not.

If you do a search...it's spelled Mark, with a k.

...he does do incredible things with wenge.

Then don't even think about turning it... Routs nicely though.

Tightbond II is fine. I have not had any problems
