here is the first cherry burl bowl that i made it was the 2nd actual bowl i turned

the couple of soft spots made it hard to sand

this is the first post for this bowl because i have more picture

Sharp tools and use a shear cut for tearout. Beautiful bowl Curtis. You really brought out the beauty in the wood and picked a perfect finish for it too.

Very nice looking bowl Curtis. Tear out you need extremely sharp tools.

thank you i really liked this peice but hated turning it it was so soft
