Laser equipment

I'm a non-laser woodworker; have been for years. I'm "toying" with the idea of purchasing a laser engraver. I know virtually nothing about them, so I was wondering if I could get some tips on products, recommendations, etc. My use would be low volume and in my shop. I'd love to hear from you folks.

Your situation is common, and those questions have been answered before if you read through the posts here, go back a year or so. If you have specific questions after that, ask. The reason I suggest that is, to answer your question would be close to writing a book, there's so much information to relate.

Good Advice Joe. I read for 2 days and learned to use the search forum box before I finally asked a question. When I find tips or good advice I put it in a word document and I try to refer to that before asking anything.
