Just in case anybody here has won the lotto lately and has some spare cash lying about - here's a deal from Bridge City that's made for you.
http://www.bridgecitytools.com/email/0802/pb0208.html
Now I personally own several BCTW tools and they're worth the money, but this one has me scratching my head. What were they thinking? I don't know if they seriously think someone would use this tool or hang it from a Christmas tree. And their ad says "Achieve the perfect vertical line with one of the earliest tools ever made dating back to the early Egyptians". At that price, it better be fresh from Tut's tomb.

I just use an old spark plug with a string tied to the thingy where the plug wire hooks on.

You might be a REDNECK IF your plumb bob is a :D:D:D

I love BCTW, but that's one tool I can't justify spending the money on.

Those "bob's" are nice. I can't believe Festool didn't think of it.

That plumb bob costs almost as much as my 5-way laser level.
One thing that they do have in common is that they both hang on a nail.;)

Just think, you will never have to buy another plumb bob again! It is the ultimate in plumb bobs.

I hear they are coming out with the ultimate lead holder with built in sharpener and micro adjust feeder. It will be made of solid stainless and precisely turned on a CNC lathe for extreme accuracy. Achieve the perfect pencil wielding experience with one of the finest examples of modern uselessness.

:D

But bear in mind that 1/2 of BCTW's customers are collectors who have no intention of ever taking these tools out of their case, much less using them.

I'll take my self leveling 5 way laser ;) but, it cost 3x this
