Good afternoon all

Hot off the lathe here is a bowl about to be delivered on my way to our turning meeting tonight. I thought about delivering it after the meeting, so I could show it at show and tell, but that would be awful late. I'll just have to tell a story about the one that got away. :D

This bowl is approximately 10" x 3 " x 3/16" thick, and is finished with Watco Danish Oil and a Beall buffing system.

How do you do that, Bill? I can think of two ways:

(a) You must be a strong man and literally punch a board out to the shape you like OR

(b) You are a master steamer and have a press of some kind with fancy heads to push out the board into those shapes!

Very cool...however you do it.... :D
