Here's a few more I recently finished.

Walnut vase, 6" x 4", finished with Antique oil and buffed. My 2nd attempt at a HF, I roughed it too thin at the lip and the hole kept getting bigger as I got it round:rolleyes:.....

Box Elder wingy dingy thingy......12" long x 1 1/2" tall. Bowl is about 8". Finished with sanding sealer.....and buffed.

and an oak limb burl.....about 7" x 4 "......left thick to preserve the bark. Finished with Minwax wipe-on poly and buffed.

Beautiful pieces buddy. I like the HF. Yep the first one I did the same thing happened. So I leave the opening thicker till I am done and do it last. Well done.

Very nice turnings Barry. I especially like the HF, great shape, and who doesn't love walnut?

Nice work Barry! You had some beautiful wood to work with and each piece really brings out what that particular piece of wood had to offer.

Nice form on the vase! Seems we all get opportunities for design modifications while turning - this one works well!

The Box Elder has some great color and curl and I like the use of various angles for the rim!

Burl is always a hit or miss when you start cutting into them - you just never know. This piece of burl has a little of everything going for it! Glad to see you were able to keep the bark - very rustic look to it!

Again, very nice work on everything!

Nice work on all of them. I really like the first "wingy thingy". I guess that's what's called "art"! The walnut's also really nice.
