If you are getting that pile of wood for $60, and it is dry, it is a steal. The quality looks very good from the picture. The only catch would be if the "shorts" meet your needs. For the most part, you should be able to use most all of it somewhere. I would love to have a couple loads!!

Yea, I agree with John, David...outstanding deals.

I am guessing by size of pile but looks like about 150 bf give or take roughly. So your getting oak at $.50 a bf and your not hiding from the law.

:D Looks like a good deal to me.

Up here if you got that for 50 cents a BF it would be called stealing.

Good for you, great hauls...

Thanks for your confirmation. This is the 4nd load and hopefully more to come. I can't say where I'm getting it, but, my find. I really appreaciated your confirmation that I have a good deal. I will stack it until I can't handle any more and then, maybe give up my source.

Thanks
Dave

I can't buy green cut oak for that price here and I know the sawmill owners.

If I felled the trees I could maybe get that price, but I would have to do the hauling to the kiln myself.

For the oak cabinets I have been doing regular they would be great to have. Couple that with cutlist and a ton of listed material you would get some major usage out of it.
