I used to think I was one of you...but this one has me stumped. Ever see those really cheap garbage bag style sleeveless raincoats they pass out at baseball games or concerts? I need to order about 10k pieces tomorrow because we are almost out at the place I work and the company is now out of business:mad:

I have NO idea where to find them...

I have tried that one and every other search phrase I can think of...

i did find some poncho's for .55cents a piece...but I really don't want a full on poncho. it is almost like a vest...with diecut arm holes and neck holes.

but thanks!!!:)

I read that as 10. 10K is a totally different story, are you promoting a Gallagher show or something?

closer...and on the right track...I have found similar to that for 55 cents per. But I really am not looking for a poncho...but in a pinch they may need to go that route in the interim.

WalMart sells them under the Sports Afield brand name. I have one marked $0.78, maybe you could talk to a store manager and get a deal.

Or contact some wholesalers----http://www.tradekey.com/ks-disposable-poncho/

The reason I do not think the poncho will work is that we need to find something that is sleeveless and shorter. its designed to keep the persons parka dry...but it can't be a safety hazard with the chairlifts.

Imagine a rectangle about the size of a medium sized garbage bag...maybe 30" wide by 40" tall....with an opening for the head and for the arms....like a vest.

Tim,
I found this online.
http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/6658665-description.html
It is a patent for a disposable raincoat. It might be worth trying to look this guy up and see what he has for a product and what manufacturers he uses. Maybe he could put something together that would fit your needs exactly.

Also, try doing a search for Disposable Rainwear.

www.saraglove.com (http://www.saraglove.com) has them at $.55 each by the case of 200. You might contact them and request another $.10 off each for 10K... When you get that many - don't be afraid to ask for a special on the special...

www.airgas.com (http://www.airgas.com) has them starting at $.59 each by the case of 12 - again - I'd contact them and get a serious quote for your expected purchase...

Skiing in the rain? I tried that once. Never again. That little depression for your butt in the chair lift seat filled up with water and there was no time to wipe it away before getting in the seat. Very miserable day.

Another time I was on a fishing boat and a feller there had one of those cheap rain ponchos with NASCAR logo all over it. The wind was really kicking that day and the noise of that poncho was very irritating. Finally this old guy turned around and said to the guy, "Hey, you wanna keep your bag quiet?" Couple of us were howling.

Good luck on your search.

Try googling "disposible plastic aprons". I found a number of hits that may be close to what you're looking for.
