Can't see follow-up posts

In my recent thread in the general power tools forum "my garage shop w/lots of pics" the last four or five responses are not visible in the normal display. I only noticed they were there at all by following the link in my email notifications. Why aren't they just included on a page 2 etc. like other posts I've seen? I'm concerned as I was trying to write back to some questions that were asked of me, and figure that people won't be able to see the related messages to know that I responded.

Ahh, are you using Safari on a Mac by any chance? I am seeing the same kind of thing. I can see all of the responses in the thread "tree" but not all show in the "normal display" area. But if I hit the site with Firefox, everything is visible

I sometimes have the same problem and wonder why? I am using MS Explorer on a Dell, so I don't think it's our hardware that's the problem.

Opps...seems I spoke too soon! Does the same thing in FF. But I went into User CP/Edit Options and changed:

Thread Display Mode to "Linear - Oldest First"
Number of Posts to Show Per Page to "Show 40 Posts Per Page" and
Default Thread Age Cut Off to "Show All Threads"
and now everything is displayed....
