I'm in the market for a 6" oscillating edge sander. I'm curious to know what you folks own and what your likes/dislikes are.
Recommendations are most welcome. The sander will see light to moderate use in my shop. I do mostly architectural woodworking & custom furniture. We do very little case work in the shop. I would much rather put my money into a accurate & solid machine than throw money away on a flimsy machine with unneeded bells and whistles. If it says anything, my favorite machine in the shop is my Canadian made General jointer. I am not opposed to old iron.
