First Attempt

I got my books in the mail this weekend, "Classic Joints with Power Tools" by Yeung Chan and "The Table Saw Book" by Kelly Mehler, and tried what Yeung calls the "rabbet and groove" using the newly acquired table saw and my router. Amazingly enough, I got a pretty tight fit on the second try and am happy with how stout the joint feels even without glue. --Ian

Good for you Ian. One of the greatest satifactions is making a new joint and having it come out snug.
