Today, a birthday gift from my grandparents came: a beautiful bench plain for the small amount of f***work I do. (Please don't kill me for saying that). But look at that ugly black grip. We can do something about that!

Glueup of walnut. Burned a couple of lines for decoration. Sanded to 600, finished with EEE. The second pic shows that ugly black thing!

I agree Ben. Now that's the way to spice up a Plane!! You could probably market a few of those upstairs in F&&tyland.:D

Actually, I saw a video of a guy using a small plane to turn a SlimLine pen! Kind of shocked me, but it surely was one way to get the thing flat if you like Bic Sticks!
