My Delta 22-580 planer just died and I need to replace it.

Yep!! And it would cost between $200 and $270 to get it fixed. The pulley on the end of the cutterhead shaft came loose and ruined both the pulley and the cutterhead shaft, as well as a few other small parts.

I need some advice on the best planer available in the $400 range.
