View Full Version : Question about Gross Stabil clamps from Grizzly

I was wondering if anyone had used the Gross Stabil parallel clamps sold by Grizzly? They're not the Scott Phillips/PC2(I don't think) models and I can't find any info on them. The prices look reasonable thru Amazon's site, I just don't want to waste money on an inferior clamp. Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Charles,
There was a nice post about 2 months ago regarding all the parallel clamps on the market now...including Gross Stabil, Bessey, Jorengensen, Jet and Woodcraft. A lot of good replies were provided. Perhaps use the search engine on 'bessey'...and good luck. :)

Charles, You're on the same boat I am. See my thread from the other day: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=76431
The price on Amazon is much better than I found at Woodworker's Hardware (http://wwhardware.com/index.cfm/pageid/0) Thanks!

I've had some of the Gross Stabil 24" and 48" for a few years. No problems and have been very happy with them. They work just as well and my besseys. If you get a good deal I'd jump on it.

I've got some both with and without the Scott Phillips labelling and other than the signature I dont think there's any difference.
