Jet Planer Molder Questions

I'm just about to purchase a Jet planer molder and I'm having some reservations about the purchase, just would like some owners of this machine to chime in for some anwers.

1. How easy are the molder knives to install and do the planer knives have to be removed to do so?

2. How much of a PITA are the planer knives to install and adjust?

3. Will this machine cut some quality moldings to replace the trim work in my house and various moldings for projects, or is the quality of the moldings just subpar?

Hello Jeff,

Just bought one of these machines several months ago. All I've done so far is plane some maple with it.
I'll answer what I know.
It has the ability to allow use of upto 2" moulding knives without removing the planer blades.
It has 2 speeds for p/m settings.
I've only seen moulding run on another machining, exact same model, and it was nice.
I'm looking forward to making all our mouldings in the next year or so.
