Any of you have any experience with these?

I think I'm going to order a couple up; can't help myself.

Jim, I do not have that exact clamp but I have another version. I've read other threads where some woodworkers love to use this style, but for me I like the screw type. I always seem to need another hand to get them set. Personal preference, I guess. I only generally use mine when I run out of the screw type. Perhaps they take just a little more coordination than I'm capable of.

I'm not criticizing the clamp, the rapid action style is just not as comfortable for ME to use.

Jim,
I have seen and handled them before, but for some reason, I didn't like them as well as the "screw" clamps. I think it may be because I am used to the feel of the pressure and the tactile feedback of the screw clamps. Using levered or ratcheting clamps just don't give me the feedback I am used to. Of course, preferences are different for everyone.

I have a few of the Festool version:

They're very handy in theory, but I find them more difficult to get really good compression than screw clamps, especially when trying to hold the work while
trying to set the clamp with 1 1/2 hands.
