This is a piece of chesnut oak burl that I bummed from a turner friend. Neat looking wood but hard to turn and sand. Measures 11'' in diameter with antique oil for the finish.

Mike, all I can say is AMAZING!!! By far one of the most beautiful NE turnings I've ever seen. Even the photography is perfect. This one is out of the park.

That peice REALLY is striking. The natural edge and grain pattern combination make it one beautiful peice.
