Hello.
If you use a circular saw to break down large panels
and you like to have dust collection, watch the videos:

Install a dust shield.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDTC8tRAyhk

Install a dust port.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvnY46ckmhM

The dust port is available from Bosch.

Thanks.

Dino:
Do you have a video of it collecting dust? BTW I hava a Makita Worm drive saw. What Blade do you recommend for sheet stock? It came with a Makita blade which is terrible. I plan to buy a new blade this weekend for some Oak Ply.

Scott,
For clean cuts you need zero clearance inserts or a home made zero clearance plate.
The best blade for clean cuts is a thin kerf 40 teeth.
Freud Diablo ($15.00) or similar.
For dust collection on worm drives I will post another video tomorrow.

You may want to call Dino and see if they still sell them. Otherwise, here are two places that sell them:
Link 1 (http://www.toolsdirect.com/index.cfm/page/product:display/productId/CSDCHUTE/manufacturer/Bosch)
Link 2 (http://url=http://www.jimslimstools.com/Products/CSDCHUTE-Bosch-Dust-Attachment-for-CS10-and-CS20__CSDCHUTE.aspx)

Thanks Alex. I looked on Bosch website and they did not show this part.

Excellent.
I've installed my base and dust port, but had not installed the front dust shield yet. This'll help, thanks.
By the way, how is everyone hooking their hose up to the dust port? Mine's a loose fit using a 1-1/4" Sears wet/vac hose. A bit of clear tape holds it in place. I have heard good and bad about Bosch's VAC002 hose fitting for this, but was still thinking about trying one.

I have a different brand, (Hilti) but I've used a few wraps of black electrical tape with satisfactory results on a couple of dust hook-ups. It works just fine and I think it looks better than using a bulky adapter. Just wrap the male end and slip on the hose.

A festool hose fits real nice and snug. Probably since both Bosch and Festool are European...

Thanks,
I use clear packing tape and it works well. I have a 6' length of 1-1/4" hose that I just leave connected to the saw.

Scott,
Next week I will post "dust collecting videos".
I have the same Makita and the Bosch worm drive.
With few easy mod's, the worm drives are the best dust collecting saws.
