Howdy folks! I was hoping that you could pass along your sources for decorative jewelry box hardware. I've looked at Rockler and a few others, but haven't really seen anything that is jumping out at me. Specifically, I'm looking for options on morticed lid stays.

Thanks!!

Well... Brusso makes the nice morticed lid supports. They are about $20. I have seen them at the local Woodcraft store, and have seen them on Amazon if you dont have a local Woodcraft. You can order them from Woodcraft as well. You have to epoxy the piece into the lid. Also look at the quadrant hinges.

Lee Valley is the place of choice for me. They have a much better selection than most, google their web site and go to their hardware selection and I would be surprised if you can't find what you are looking for. I buy a lot of brass hinges and handles for blanket chests etc from them.

Harley,

You can order them through Beall Tool Company if you can't find them anywhere else.
