I have a customer that would like to have a sign for their mailbox engraved, but they don't want wood. Looks like Multigraph (yellow w/black lettering) will do the trick, but they want engraving on both sides.

Could I glue two pieces back to back somehow? Any other suggestions about alternate approaches or materials would be appreciated as well.

I've used Weld On 3 or 4 many times with good success.

Double sided tape wide enough to do the entire thing with no seams. Tape first, cut to size, then engrave.

Thanks for the ideas! Would the tape hold up in an outdoor environment? The requested size is 20".

I have too, it's basically acrylic so acrylic cement works. You could also spray the back with a similar yellow Krylon Fusion if they don't want it thicker.

Ed, I've been using it on license plates for years.
Johnsons has a large sheet 18x24, and laser bit has a 6" roll of it.
