I can get this Craftsman TS for $400, but I'm not sure of the fence as I am relativley new with this hobby. Can anybody help me with what type of fence it is? Would it be good or not? This is my first post with a pic, I hope it works.

The saw looks like an Orion made Craftsman 22124, but that's not the stock Biesemeyer fence that typically comes with it. It also looks like they painted the motor cover black. Sorry I can't tell you much about that fence. A new 22124 retails for $1100 with the Biese, but most buy them on sale for $950 or less (often $850 or less) ...either way, $400 seems pretty good if it works well and the fence does it's job.

Even if you don't like that fence, you could probably sell it for $50-$100 and buy a Delta T2 For $150 and still only have ~ $500 invested. I doubt you'll find more in a new saw in the $400-$500 range.

The pic came out fine!

I recently purchased this saw from Sears and really like it. I paid $900 with the Biesemeyer fence which is excellent. $400 seems like a good deal if the saw itself is sound.

That is interesting. Definitely an Orion machine but that looks like a 30"left/30"right fence that I though had gone away a couple years ago. I have never seen one on this saw but I am hardly the end-all-know-all on that.

If the saw is mechanically OK, I would dive on it for $400. Out of curiosity, is this in the USA?

It's from an Orion manufacturing shop. That may explain the black cover (possibly a SC cover). The fence had me baffled. Anyway, I'm waiting for more details. Body looks a little dinged up. Wondering if it's a refurb, used, or just bumped in transit to/from somewhere. Griz has a few fence options for 200-275. 600-675 sound real tempting for this.

I have that saw with the Bies Fence and I have been very pleased with it.
For $400, I would buy it.

I own this saw with the Beisemeyer fence and love it..I also am confused about the dust cover as mine is red. For 400.00 this saw is a deal, I paid 800.00 for mine.
