Sawtill finished

Finally am putting the final touches on my new sawtill.

The carcass is cherry ply with cherry face frames and doors.
The swingouts are maple ply with birch frames.

This is going to take me awhile to fill!

NOW I know what a Sawtill is. I had pictures in my head of some rototiller blade shaped contraption, that your saws hooked into, for ripping multiple strips of boards at the same time.:o

That is beautiful. I primarily run tailed tools but have a few fine hand tools. They have special homes but nothing that compares to your piece. Very, very nice.
