House plans software??

Any inexpensive/free software out there to draw floorplans for a simple house? I have tried a couple, but they are really crippled (very crippled) version of some very expensive stuff and don't really work very well.

Try something from the Better Homes and Gardens Series. They are the powerful, but easy to use. You can get a "lighweight" version for 50 bucks, something a bit more sophisitcated for 100-150. A little more for 450 or jump to the full pro version (a couple thou - I think).

Ive tried em all - and this is the one I keep coming back to.

Try the free Sketchup tool from Google. It could easily do what you want.

I have several different ones but the one I like best is a cheap one called 3D Home Architect. If I can learn to use it well, it has to be simple.
