This bandsaw comes on sale every now and then for $895 Canadian at Busy Bee Tools. It is in my price range and appears to do what I want it to do which is re-saw up to 10.5" height oak, ash, etc. plus other lighter sawing, occasional hobby usage. Note, most other brands that cut 11-12 inches height take me to $1500 plus in Canada. I have a couple of Busy Bee tools in my shop and I am happy with them for the price points.

I know very little about bandsaws but am considering buying this unit and would be interested in hearing your candid feedback.

You might find some feedback at the forum of Canadian Woodworking Magazine website.

Hope this helps.

Rumor has it that there is some relationship between Busy Bee and Grizzly. New Grizzly tools have a very good reputation and this saw looks kind of like one of Grizzly's.

I second Marty’s suggestion of visiting the Canadian woodworking forums and asking questions.
I have not heard of the Busy Bee brand but just going by the spec’s it looks like a pretty decent bandsaw.
