Plywood grading question

Does the grade of plywood (A-2,A-4, etc.) indicate how it is cut (rotary, rift, etc.) or does it just indicate the quality of the face regardless of how it is cut?

it is the face and the insides some have 2 layers of mdf inside now especiallhy the birch cabinet grade. also tells you the good side and the bad side. the knots filled or no knots. etc.

you can go to wurth wood group, jjust google and check out their website they have a pdf file on all the grades and types of plys available.
