Supplier for Black Granite or Marble Tiles?

Does anyone have a great place to get inexpensive 12x12 inch black granite or marble tiles? They need to have the finished edges (similar to the ones on laserbits.com).

I tried some for about $5.00 a piece from Home Depot, but they didn't have the finished edge and didn't laser well at all. I have an Epilog 35 Watt Mini 18.

Do we absolutely have to use tile specifically made for lasers?

You can use black shoe polish on the sides of the H.D. granite.. It engraves well, I have not had any complaints..

We use the home depot / lowes tiles all the time. They laser great and the contrast has been very nice.
