Hey guys,

so finished milling the aprons with the final curves I liked. I took somone's advice on here (can't remember who) and ran the curves to meet the legs which I think looks fantastic so thanks! As you can see from the photos (sorry about the quality, I have no idea how to take a decent picture with good lighting) the legs have been notched out and are in place now along with the aprons. I just need to taper the legs.

My question comes to how the best way is to put a rack under the bottom of the table. I figured I would just mortise and tenon a rail with ledge that the rack could then just drop down into. I would have to notch out around the legs but would you glue this in place or just screw it? Reason I ask is b/c of wood movement. I do not want it to expand and put pressure on the legs. I guess I could just use a veneered mdf for the rack? I was thinking the rails would be walnut like the table and the actual rack would be curly maple, would that look too guady? Any suggestions?
